Level 2 Background Check (Fingerprinting) in a few Steps

Getting your Level 2 Fingerprint Background Check in Jax Florida, Fingerprinting is quick and straightforward. Here’s how it works:

  • 1. Employer Registration (DCF / AHCA Portal)

    The requesting employer or agency must first register you in the Florida DCF / AHCA Background Screening Clearinghouse portal and initiate a Level 2 background check request.

    Once completed, they will provide you with a Live Scan Request Form that includes: ORI number and Screening ID number

  • 2. Bring Required Documents to Jax Florida Fingerprinting

    Bring your Live Scan Request Form along with a valid, non-expired driver’s license, state ID, or passport

     

  • 3. Fingerprinting & Submission Process

    Your fingerprints and photo are captured by Jax Florida Fingerprinting and securely submitted to:

    Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)

    Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for national background processing

    Results are then returned to the requesting agency through the DCF Clearinghouse system.

  • 4. Confirmation & Processing Time

    After submission, you will receive a Transaction Control Number (TCN) receipt, which confirms your fingerprints were successfully processed.
